The FMF 125 Dream race Triple Crown is our way of bringing back our roots. The origins of motocross was bred on premix and race gas, and some of these legends only dream of ripping a national track on a 2-stroke. After the kickoff in Hangtown that saw a packet gate and some intense racing, we took it Thunder Valley and finally Washougal this weekend where we will be giving away this custom built 2018 FMF Husqvarna TC 125. For the racers that competed in the first 2 races will have their chance to win the bike at the Washougal round. Winner will be chosen at random, so you don’t have to be winning, you just need to have the passion!

 

 
 

INDIAN MOTORCYCLE INK

IF RIDING IS IN YOUR BLOOD, PROVE IT

Motorcycles are in his blood. To prove it in grand fashion, rebel and third generation motorcycle rider, Carey Hart used a unique ink to permanently inscribe his son’s name on his neck.

 

A third-generation motocross rider, Indian Motorcycle® worked with Carey to prove that fact in a way that’s half genius, half insane: We collected the carbon from a burnout on one of his Indian Motorcycles, and used it as pigment in sterile and safe tattoo ink to mark him forever. This Indian Motorcycle Ink is composed of carbon ash collected from Carey’s legendary Indian® Super Hooligan outside of Los Angeles, California.

 

 

THE INK

Everyone’s first question: How is this safe? The answer came from Carey’s longtime tattoo artist, Franco Vescovi, co-founder of Nocturnal Ink. Franco brings decades of top-quality ink manufacturing experience to the table, ensuring our process is sterile and safe. The carbon simply acts as a pigment carried by the alcohol suspension. In fact, many black inks on the market use carbon as pigment. Ours just happens to come from a smoldering motorcycle tire and a smoking tailpipe.

 

 

THE RIDER

CAREY’S PERMANENT BURNOUT.

Carey was given his first motorcycle by his father at age four, in hopes of creating a bond that transcended generations. Riding quickly became Hart's passion, and he began racing at age six. Fast forward to 2003, and Hart was the first man to land a back flip on a motorcycle—a feat that will never be forgotten. Today, Carey is either building bikes, riding bikes or donating his time to a multitude of worthy charities. The bond between Carey and riding has never been stronger. Now, he and Indian Motorcycle have made that connection literal, and everlasting.

 

 

THE TATTOO

BLOOD & CARBON. FATHER & SON.

As a long-term partner of Indian Motorcycle, Carey Hart has always been game for pushing boundaries in riding, racing and what it means to be legendary. He recently welcomed his first son, Jameson, into the world. This put an interesting lens on the Indian Motorcycle Ink project. Carey opted to use the ink from the burnout to tattoo his newborn son’s name on his neck—forever bonding his bike, son and himself for the world to see.

FREE EVENT TAKING PLACE AT HORNY TOAD HARLEY-DAVIDSON- SAT. MAY 20, TEMPLE, TEXAS

On Saturday, May 20, 2017, Horny Toad Harley-Davidson of Temple, TX will host the Hooligan Dirt Dash, featuring a full day of pulse-pounding flat track motorcycle racing, live music, FXR, Dyna and Chopper bike shows and much more.

The FREE event kicks off at 12 Noon and runs throughout the day until 6pm.

Horny Toad Harley-Davidson owner George Lee says, “We are honored and very proud to be hosting the Hooligan Dirt Dash and we know the Southwest Regional HOG Rally attendees and the rider community will have a blast at the event."

The Hooligan Dirt Dash will feature racers representing The Speed Merchant, Suicide Machine Company, Biltwell, Broken Homme and others as they battle it out until the track is left with the fastest of the fast - so don’t blink or you might just miss the fun.

Hooligan racer Brawny, from The Speed Merchant says, “This year's Hooligan Dirt Dash at Horny Toad Harley-Davidson will be one for the books."

The opening ceremony for Hooligan Dirt Dash will commence at 3pm, after which racers will line up to compete in this daring dance of speed and style in the 1/8th mile oval made of dirt.

The Hooligan Dirt Dash race series made its debut in Sturgis, South Dakota during the 75th Sturgis Motorcycle Rally at the legendary Sturgis ½ Mile dirt track. Because it’s run “outlaw” style, largely self-governed by competitors; no official sanctioning body; very few rules for classification beyond rider skill and/or engine displacement Hooligan Dirt Dash races have a grassroots vibe that makes them super popular with fans.

This year's Hooligan Dirt Dash follows last year's hugely successful event which was hosted by Gruene Harley-Davidson in New Braunfels, TX.
